Compassionate, Personalized Support for New Parents, From Birth Through 12 Months.
Hi, I'm Lauren, the founder of Nanny Lauren's First-Year Parent Coaching. I'm passionate about helping new parents feel informed, confident, and supported as they navigate the joys and challenges of their baby's first year.
My approach is practical, compassionate, and personalized because every baby is different, and every family deserves guidance that respects its individual needs, routines, and priorities.
Whether you're preparing to welcome your first baby or looking for help with everyday infant-care questions, my goal is to provide useful information, encouragement, and personalized support that makes parenting feel a little less overwhelming.
I am a professional career nanny and early childhood educator. I have more than 10 years of experience working with children and nearly seven years as a career nanny. My experience includes caring for children from newborns through school age, with a special interest in newborns and babies from birth to 12 months. I hold an associate degree in Early Childhood Development and a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with minors in Education and Recreation & Wellness. I also have two college certifications in Early Childhood Development (birth-age 3 and Early Chilldhood Education (bith-age 5).
The first year brings so many changes, and there’s no single routine or approach that works for every baby or family. I focus on getting to know each baby, noticing their cues, and helping families find practical ways to support feeding, soothing, sleep foundations, play, routines and development. I draw on a responsive, play-based, Montessori-inspired approach and tailor ideas to each family’s needs, preferences, and everyday life.
I love sharing the insight I’ve gained over the years, along with simple tips and tricks that can make daily care feel more manageable. My goal is to offer families useful knowledge and encouragement without judgment, so they can feel more confident as they get to know their baby and discover what works for them.
I’d love to hear what you’re navigating. Get in touch to talk about parent coaching.
